My family's day trip to visit Harvard and MIT campuses was a train wreck, but Curio was the only saving grace It's a small shop and if one group is talking loudly, it's loud, but if everyone is talking normally, it's a really calm environment. The coffee, and especially the leige waffle, were fantastic.

No arguments that Curio serves Best waffles in town ! Support local business Little tiny cozy place to grab quick coffee and waffle is the must!

The cannoli waffle got me. Usually I don't revisit a place (especially this soon) unless it has a chokehold on me since I like to experience new places, but I saw an ad for the cannoli waffle, which was a weekend special only for the month of February, and it sounded so good that I had to come back. Had I gone on a Saturday instead of a Friday last time, I probably would not have been back twice in two weeks since my last experience was just ok. Despite the "no laptop" policy on weekends, there was still a decent amount of people, and a few were still working (just without laptops). My order took 5-6 minutes to prepare again. At $6.50, the cannoli waffle was more expensive than the everything with cream cheese waffle that I got last time. For the size and effort of these waffles, I feel like these should be priced at $5 tops. The texture of the waffle was consistent with my last experience: crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. I like how the corners are like the the burnt edges of a brownie (aka the best part). The cannoli cream, however, was a letdown. The texture was mildly chunky and more like oatmeal than the thick cream you would find in a traditional cannoli, which was odd. I also feel like the chocolate chips would have elevated the waffle more had they been used as a filling rather than a topping. I enjoyed the everything with cream cheese waffle that I had last time more and probably would have preferred a plain waffle over this cannoli waffle. Conclusion: The waffles are good and worth trying, but skip on the cannoli waffle if you see it. I also feel like I can't give a 5 until I try their coffee again (and like it), given the name of this place.

Yummy waffle, so warm and chewy with light crispy crunch on outside. The chocolate was so gooey and liquid. You can definitely taste the tahini flavor and it wasn't too sweet at all. Perfect snack! The inside was pretty small and any party bigger than 2 would likely have trouble finding a spot inside. The servers were really friendly and nice though! Service was also decently quick.

I was walking around Cambridge to visit MIT and ran across this coffee shop near my hotel. It's a small, quaint spot. I ordered a simple latte. I could taste the espresso more than the milk, which is how I like my lattes. Two thumbs up. It was definitely a dark roast. For a small shop, it was completely full of locals (I think there locals). The barista was friendly although she called me Matt when it was time to pick up my drink instead of Mark. lol. This is a good alternative to Starbucks when you want support small businesses.

The liege waffles are absolutely delectable. I liked that they werent too sweet either. The coffee shop is a bit small, but I was able to snag a seat to get some work done.

There's something special to be said about a cafe you don't have to wear headphones at. The music is as carefully curated as the drinks themselves, but the sounds of Curio Coffee don't stop there. On weekdays, there's a soft clicking of keyboards to accompany the underground beats and well ground beans. The extremely receptive and quick service is impressive considering the volume of customers they get. Don't be deceived though--no matter how busy the baristas get quality is never sacrificed. The sidebar is always well stocked, with the additional amenity of self-serve water (yay hydration!). Curio Coffee is a different story on the weekends. As per store policy, they enforce a "no computers" rule Saturday/Sunday. There's an authentic sense of community at Curio Coffee. There's limited seating, but people cycle in and out. With patience, a spot will open up in under 10 minutes. (Plus their waffles are AMAZING, somehow layered and buttery? I have no clue how they do it)

THE LIEGE WAFFLES are enough for you to come to Curio to try. So perfect, warm, with the pearl sugar on top!! If I was in the area I'd be grabbing one every morning with a coffee. Really small, yet cozy with outside seating! I wasn't a big fan of the chai latte it was a little watered down so I can't speak for the coffee.
